SKETCHBOOK WORKSHOP
This course has been popular with those who are compulsive sketchers, and those who have not looked at a sketchbook since school. Often it is joined by students from various art departments, who would like to broaden their sketchbook skills, produce portfolio sketchbooks or perhaps use materials not always associated with keeping a visual record.
A sketchbook is like a diary, it can be highly detailed, or it can catch a passing observation or event in a simple collection of lines. If you are working on a long-term project it is often essential.
Past courses have regularly been held at Adult Education Centres such as Bicester and Thame, and at Wallingford School of Art and Art History. It is run as a term-time and block course.
